AuscultifyPrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Auscultify ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Auscultify iOS application and this website. We designed Auscultify to work with as little personal data as possible.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. If you create an account or subscribe, we process the identifiers required to manage your subscription (for example, an Apple-provided account identifier). Payments are handled entirely by Apple; we never receive your full card details.
- Learning progress. Your quiz answers, accuracy, streaks, daily goals and mastery data are stored to power the app's progress features. This data is tied to your device or account, not to your identity.
- Usage and diagnostics. We may collect aggregated, anonymized analytics and crash reports to improve reliability and performance.
- Support correspondence. If you email support, we retain your message and contact details to respond.
2. What we do not collect
Auscultify is an educational training tool. It is not a medical device and does not collect patient data, health records, or audio from your device's microphone. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. How we use information
- To provide and maintain the app's training and progress-tracking features.
- To manage subscriptions and the 7-day free trial.
- To improve the app through anonymized analytics.
- To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
4. Data sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the app (such as Apple for payments and cloud/analytics providers), and only to the extent necessary. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Data retention and security
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. You can request deletion of your account data at any time (see below).
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@auscultify.ai. You can also delete locally stored progress by removing the app from your device.
7. Children's privacy
Auscultify is intended for students and healthcare professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
